Minimum 1m from all property lines. No installations in front yard. At least 20% of lot must remain vegetated. Minimum 2m from doors and windows for residential-adjacent sites.

Commercial Zoning

Commercial wellness zoning required. Register with Registraire des entreprises du Québec (NEQ). Business license from municipality. Health inspection certification required.

Compliance Timeline

Pre-2010 installations must comply by September 30, 2025. New installations since July 1, 2021 must comply immediately. Fines: $500–$700 first offense.
